Oh we were good and no not moralising. Point is, when you are dealing with 3rd country status then fussy officials exist everywhere. I've no doubt EU visitors will come up against equally fussy UK officials when visiting UK ports.

I've visited over 100 countries either for work or play. Only place I've ever had trouble was returning to the UK after some time in the sand pit.
