I've found a berth for next year in Southern Brittany and whilst wondering about what paperwork this would call for have been asked for a 'Une copie de l’acte de francisation du navire'
From what I've found thus far it includes proof of ownership, proof of age / VAT, SSR details and other things, if anyone out there has any pointers from experience I would much appreciate any info as to pitfalls and how it's easiest to get right first time ?

My marina in Brittany asked for copies of my insurance certificate and "l'acte de francisation (or Certificate of British Registry)"

When I arrived at Arzal, part of Ports du Morbihan if that's who you're berthing with, I was asked to provide registration (ssr), insurance and nothing else.
During 5 years in France I never heard of the document to which you refer but I suspect it applies only to French flagged vessels.

If it isn't confidential, where will you be berthing?
