For those who don't know you can get free tide predictions here (please note you have to choose England/ Scotland/ Wales as UK GB is not there) :-

I'm not planning on going quite as far as World wide, I suspect the furthest I'll ever get with Playtime is the Thames or Brest (I'd like to go there!) but there are people who will find worldwide info useful, after all this is the world wide web, any way, nuff of this rubbish, the thing I wanted to say is the best tide tables for the solent particularly the hamble/soton water end is the A5 sized ABP blue book in most chandlers, loads and loads of useful info.

I had a tide print out from that site when you came out with me Happy, been using it for ages, must log on now and see if I can print out a Gib tidal curve, bet its not very steep/forums/images/icons/smile.gif
