Watching the Scottish open on Sunday (TV) and noticed a gaggle of motorboats moored by the 17th, all free viewing I guess. Wish I'd been there, combining two of the loves in life, albiet just watching golf.

Any of you lot among those boats ???

YES YES YES.. I was there......

It was hell of a busy. with a strong wind blowing, i think there was a few collisions.

You get a great view right round the 18 hole on to the green, and can see Ernie Els picking up the trophy.

My lovely new 25' cuddy was dawarfed buy some of those beautiful huge Fly bridges.

Not so sure about free viewing though, i think i spent about £50 on fuel to get there and back.

Personally i think Loch Lomond yesterday with the glorious sunshine, terrific heat (I even had to put the bimini up to give us some shade) aaaannnnddd BEAUTIFUL scenery was any bit as good as the med. And its right on my door step.. ( Only wished it could happen more than once a year..!!!!!)

Cheers...

Alistair...

If you spent £50 on fuel and Lock Lomond is right on your doorstep, surely your engines need a tune up?
