Had a pleasant surprise this morning in the post,
A free copy of the next issue of Practical Boat Owner okay it was a
promotional ploy, but as I buy it every month anyway, "THANKS"
keep saying I will subscribe one day and save some cash, then get a
issue leaving a bit to be desired and say thats it, no more! but
following month traipse down to the newsagents and buy another,
Also sail--- t---- which I thought was very poor this month, Jan issue,
So will not bother with it again, till i,m bored and need something to
read! Thats the trouble with this sailing lark, "To dammed addictive"
all the best

Gotta have something to read in the loo. I got one too, wonder what’s going on, Something to do with Sarah Norberry maybe

(why is it that every other mag in WH Smith’s aimed principally at men , as lets face it sailing mags are – is always covered with a picture of attractive young women, while sailing mags aren’t – is it because we are all seen as past that sort of thing?)

Having also been disappointed with the S....... T..... magazine, I also vowed not to bother again. Trouble is it seems to be published in between my subscription YM and PBO, and I fall for the purchase every time having been being starved of something new to read for a couple of weeks!!

I'd like to see more bikini clad models on the front of the magazine, then again I might have more then a passing interest ;-)

In fact in the office we have the Feb 2002 blown up nice and big, (much to out Editorial Artist's disapproval!!) Just happened to be one of the displays that IPC do for their windows that needed a new home.

Fear not, I'll try my best to get some lovely ladies on the cover...All I have to do is find them!

I subscribed to PBO, MBM and Classic Boat at SIBS. Why am I not being sent any freebies? /forums/images/icons/frown.gif

They have lots of other titles they could tempt me with!

I'm Aberdonian, for heaven's sake, I'd even accept 'Cage & Aviary Birds' if it was free even though I'm not that kinky. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
