Fowey - local boat hire

Spending a few days in Fowey in a week or so and currently boatless /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Wanted to hire a small day-boat for exploring up river and fishing for a couple of days. The place we've used before (Fowey river boat hire) is fully booked.

Anyone know anybody else in the area?

Is that the lot near the landing were the water taxi's come into? with the little putt-putts??

Cheers Jim. Most of them have gone "by the hour" type hire to catch the normal tourist trade I guess - I know Fowey boat yard have and I don't think Fowey marine do hire any more. Haven't tried Gallants but don't fancy fishing from a sailing dingy /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Oh well - we might have to come back to Dartmouth instead!

Try fowey maritime centre - they might be able to help or know someone who wants to hire a boat to you (ask for Sean or Steve)
