Not being that computer literate Iv been put off putting photos on the site for ages, people have always said put you photos on photobucket but I even had difficulty in getting them on there let alone transferring them to this site after, but have now found a very simple way of doing it. In idiot proof guide without having to go to photobucket:-
Write your message in the box.
Go down to attach files.
Click manage attachments in additional options below.
Click brows which then brings up photos on my computer which are in j peg.
Select photo.
Click upload.
Close window.
And if this is a photo of a Sealine 290 for sale next year its worked.
All we need now is a spell check on here.

yes, that works well, and is a good description of getting pix from your own computer onto the thread. Nice photo BTW.

It's amgic when it works, isn't it :)

...and if you want to have the full size image, you enter;

The trouble with attachments is the amount of space is so limited. Photobucket offers a vast amount by comparison.
Pictures on P'bucket can also be used for other forums, blogs, websites, email etc etc.

Have you figured out how to attach a pic to a post that has previously been saved as an attachment.

give up cant get them any bigger

That's because the method you have described is specifically for attaching thumbnails - not full sized pics. You have to use the photobucket (or similar) route if you want to post full-sized pics.

BTW this is nothing new - the facility to do this has been here since the new-style forums started.
