Our vinyl foredeck cushion have a few tears in them. We'd like to get another couple of years out of them but would ideally patch them with something to prevent the tears getting any worse.

Can anyone recommend a suitable tape? Gorilla Tape seems to slide off and leave a sticky mess.

Thanks

Sail repair tape for a quickie job .... replace when necessary. If it can repair a sail - it can do your cushions.

Another way - get some vinyl and wrap the cushions ... taping underneath .....

You might try tarpaulinsdirect - they do several sticky tapes for repairs and mods to their plastic tarps. I have used their 'Tarp tape' to make three large patches on my plastic sheet with success. Available in a range of colours! They also do 'Dad's tape' and claim it's suitable for vinyl.

I have used thin wetsuit material to patch cushions. I stitch rather than glue. The benefit is that it's stretchy and flexes with the cushion surface.
