Simpson Lawrence Seawolf electric anchor windlass.
Removed from my classic 35’ powerboat and replaced with an expensive new Lewmar windlass as the Seawolf motor appeared to be losing power and needed a nudge to start. Once running, it pulled well.
I think the issue may have been more to do with relays and wiring.
Other than the motor, which I cannot guarantee is working correctly, the windlass is in excellent mechanical and good cosmetic condition. All the functions such as the clutch, chain counter, stopper etc work perfectly and the bearings run smoothly and were repacked with new grease by me a few years ago. The casing has no significant corrosion.
The windlass comes complete with manual lever and owners manual.
If you already have a Seawolf then this windlass can be used as a spares ship as all parts are fully serviceable (with the exception of the motor which does run well under no load). Spare parts are ruinously expensive but this windlass is not.
A bargain at £100 cash or bank transfer on collection from Bournemouth.
