As there seems to be no 'contact us' on the site, perhaps an open letter can do the trick - at least here, there may be some measure of support.

In the articles in your esteemed maggies, would it be asking too much for a sidebar which details the boat(s) referred to, whether Ozzie people sailing around the world alone or Mum, Dad and the 3 kids hitting a container and being eaten by a whale in the Atlantic.

Seriously, a story without context is a bit difficult - F9 and 22ft waves mean different things to a 22ft Hurley and a 43ft HR.

See 'About us' top nav bar all sites for web contacts. Welcome in left-hand nav for YW site; Contact us in left-hand nav for YM site and About PBO in left-hand nav for PBO site.

Agree those links could be better organised; our primary nav bars grow and then tend to get a bit out of hand so we'll look at doing some tidying. Working on a better FAQ/Help section first; will include some links there too.

As for your other comment which mags do you read? I'll forward to them.

Unless I have missed the point.

All YM's cruising yarns have a box at the end giving a potted cruising biography of the author plus details of the boat and any other relevant information. It is something we have done for years.

I have the latest issue in front of me now (great read and great value at just £3.30 from your local newsagent - why not take out a subscription!). On P39: 'Miles Hordern grew up in landlocked Worcestershire...bought his 8.5m (28ft) Twister Gordian and sailed her solo...'
Similar bits on p33, p44, p59 etc

Did you have something else in mind?

I'll check some of the issue numbers and dates, but, unless my poor old eyes are missing things, it is the exception for you to post this data, rather than the rule.

I will take it all back if I find I have been missing something all these years!!
