...from today to Jan 25th, I would recommend visiting an exhibition where you can see some of the works which you can preview in this website:
http://thierrykonarzewski.com/en/
You can find also the exhibition address in the homepage.
I'm posting this here because, aside from knowing that some forumites are interested in photography, I saw some of these works in the flesh, enlarged to 100x150cm size and printed on a very special support (Hahnemühle Photo Rag Bright White), and they are absolutely stunning.
In fact, I have the privilege of calling the author a friend of mine, and we often cruise together, because he loves, as much as I do, to spend most of the summer in the small island which is my home port.
And it's no coincidence that many of those pics were taken down there.
I am linking directly a couple of them just to give an idea: the first because it's somewhat appropriate for a boating forum
, and the second because I find it particularly intriguing.
Btw, for the latter you might actually see the real thing in London, together with some other, if you have an opportunity to see the JP Morgan Chase Collection.
Looking forward to hearing your views, particularly if anyone will have the opportunity to see the exhibition.
In fact, the "computer pics don't do justice to the real thing" disclaimer has never been as appropriate as in this case!
