Foot pump ID?

This is the fresh water foot pump on Ariel - a Sweden 340.

Pretty sure it's the original one, fitted in 1987. Is it a Whale?

It's leaking from the pump body, so either a service kit or replacement pump needed.

 Edit - don't think it's a Whale, as the orientation of the horizontal cylinders is different.

The foot 'handle' arrived broken from the seller - who refused to accept shipping damage .... so I had to take parts from my old pump to make good.

It is a TMC Foot Galley Pump ........ not so easy to find parts for now .... you can get complete - but not cheap and not so many sellers ....

If mine fails again ... I will change to Whale or similar version ... or go full swing and add electric pump.

Thanks, think you're right. Found "TMC" on it when we removed it. I remember now that I managed to get a replacement for Arpeggio's, will see if I can do the same again.

Otherwise like you I'll be switching to Whale.

TMC is a Taiwanese copy of Whale, but has been around for a long time. you are correct that supplier has the description wrong but the product right. a Whale is a very similar price at UK mail order chandlers but not as cheap as your Spanish supplier
