I told there's plenty of berths at Shamrock Quay if you need one.

One of the cheaper MDL Solent marinas with plenty of facilities on site.

The staff are quite cheery and you'll have me as a neighbour. OK nothings perfect.

Have they sorted out the dampers on those auto closing pontoon access gates? The noise of the gates closing and the holes in the pontoon where the long lasting memories I took away after a one day visit to that awful overpriced marina.

Last year I had a pontoon berth at 25% the cost on the opposite side of the river where the gate would close with a well engineered click and the pontoons were in far better shape.

My only complaint is the dust. But thats a given on that part of the river.

Yes - G19. It's right on the end which is great for coming in what with the tide racing through there but I hope I don't get too much wash from passing boats.
