On my boat I've got a Volvo 2030 which drives the 3 bladed folding prop through a saildrive, and a stripper is attached forward oif the prop. So far so good (one season's use).
And me, and last season the 'stripper' cut its way through a large clump of netting as I was motoring out of Alderney. Great combination - the folded prop is perhaps less likely to catch rubbish and the 'stripper' is a really good product I reckon.
CQR advised me not to fit a stripper with a three bladed flex-o-fold propeller, but it is not being fitted for another fortnight so I cannot guarantee they are right. I guess you pays your money and takes your choice.
