Probably a canvas bag full of Silicagel stuffed in both inlet and exhaust would do better job than anything else - if you do believe the environment calls for some extra protection at ll, that is...

Ive seen a test that says otherwise. Although not the best in test, wd40 did prevent corrosion on untreated mild steel sprayed with salt water better than some products specifically branded as corrosion protection. Like I say, not the best product, but far from the worst.

I agree. I've been using WD40 sprayed on boat inboard engines for over 35 years to prevent and stop corrosion. Certainly works.
