Back to foaming
Must be the season for gates to fail, Maryport has been without its gate for a couple of weeks now and is likely to remain so for a few more too.
Not nearly as substantial as Conway, although is is still a fair lump of steel
Fortunately, we don't dry out as there is a bar at the bottom of the gate that leaves about six feet of water in most places, so no lingering in the mud here.

I must admit I don't undrstand th significance of the post, but be that as it may, I cannot understand the bickering. As I see it HLB you have threatened Bridgid Mary and I think that is a disgrace. She may well have provoked things a bit, but I cannot condone the responses. I thought th forums were a way of furthering the sport of boating, not the sport of baiting. I'm outa here

Hmm, I think there is significant history - Brigid_Mary seems to enjoy baiting Haydn & Debs. Just look at the history of his posts. If I were them, I'd be pretty bored of it by now. The moderators should have dealt with it long ago.

I told HLB not respond like that last night & again this am, but it has put me right off putting anything on here. I put somthing on, then get repeated nasty comments by those that don't like HLB. It took forever to put the 1st picture on, then no room for words, then had to edit it round system lockups. 1st reply from Bridgit Mary was the post was "excrement".

At least I contributed, not again for a long while if ever.

I've been here a long time and quite used to nasty comments, however I draw the line, at using my partner to get at me.

Thanks for your thoughts, I hope Deborah reads it and finds it helpfull, though I'm sure she's far to worldy wise to let some scum bag intimidate her.
