Who said to use THAT foam in the gate, oh no it takes on water ! The gate's been draining for days, boats are all sitting on the bottom at low tide.

How does this thing work? Does it sit at the sea bed, and on high tide, sits parallel with sea bed, then when the tide gets so low, it raises up to retain water?

Yes it folds down to the sea bed, then raises to stop the water leaving the marina. But they filled it with the wrong sort of foam, so it was to heavy to lift, as full of water. So they have been mining the foam out for the last three days. inorder to put the right foam in. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Whatever your thoughts of me, has nothing to do with very inocent photos or comments from Deborah.

In any case, my comments months ago, were taken totally out of context. I said, go when the weather window was right. addressed to Anne and nothing to do with you. This got transfered into a slag at Arny and a sort of gungho, go whatever the weather, where upon, you slippery git, started attacking my partner.

Deborah is quite able to stand up for her self, believe me, she dont need my help. Infact you would be floored with one blow.

The East Coast is not that far away, would you like a chat with her??

Now Now Deborah Ann, I responded to your first post because I thought there was no point to it without people knowing what it was about. There were very scant details, as backed up by the posters previous to me.As is the normal exchange you got high and mighty backed up by Horrible little B===ard. My response was to HLB, so your last post has been negated. It is a good thing that I dont take threats seriously. I believe that this has been taken too far and I wont be posting any further on this as it is achieving nothing. Neither you or HLB can ride rough shod over these forums without somone putting a different veiw point. This is not Munich or Moscow

fair comment. Explain. Which part of your photograph is the gate. and which ever part is the gate, you might have explained a bit more expressivly. My comparison to exitement was done in the lack of knowledge as to what we were looking at. I can recognize a blow up bouy and a couple of bits and bobs with so and so plant hire written on them oh yes there where a couple of yachts in the background, so that makes it more interesting for the yotties. I will say it again, these forums are for the benifeit of all who are involved with boating and all posters are entitled to their opinion, wether or not it ties in with yours
