I have not flown one yet but I qualify because my son once attended a topper open meeting at a qualifying club and we slept in the back of the car in the dinghy park and my uncle was thrown out of the navy for being gay

The Union Flag is a Land Flag.

The Union Jack is a sea flag worn only by RN Ships. I have a small Pilot Jack (Union Flag with a white border) that I wear in the bows when I dress ship.

For the the Jubilee I followed RN Ships and dressed with masthead ensigns as well as signal flags. To do this I swapped from my usual underfaced blue to red ensigns as I have 2 of those from previous boats and only 1 blue!
