I'm installing a little wood-burning Pipsqueak stove in our 24-footer and I'm having difficulty finding a fitting/flange/deck iron for where the flue goes through the cabin roof. The flue is 8cm diameter. The cabin roof is wood sheafed in fibreglass. The stove manufacturer doesn't make a fitting and I'm finding it hard to find anyone else who does.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Thanks! I'd seen that Davey Marine one, but yeah, a bit too small.

I've emailed Harworth, though, so I'll see what they come up with. Their website isn't super-informative.

I used to have a 'home-made' charcoal heater on my boat (which also has a plywood coachroof sheathed with fibreglass), The through-deck consisted of a suitable diameter s/s pipe passing through, and welded to, a s/s plate. A circular hole was cut in the coachroof of a size sufficient to give good clearance around the pipe. I don't think it would be difficult to find a s/s fabricator to make up something suitable.

Dickinson heaters use a stainless steel flue and offer a very well made deck fitting. Not sure of sizes but google kuranda who are the UK agents.

google kuranda gets you the forest in OZ.

I modified a UFO vent to cover the flue of my LPG water heater making it very low to the deck to reduce the possibility of tripping over it.

You could, of course, have one made by your local stainless steel fabricator in 16gauge sheet/tube. This type of design, similar to the one I have for my Taylors diesel stove, has a trough you can fill with water to reduce heat transfer to the deck. https://goo.gl/images/6vwgWg

Many thanks for these replies.

That 3" Dickinson one from Kuranda might do the business -- it could slide into my 80mm stove pipe, with some sort of sealant to join them together.
