flubber towing tied to pushpit

No I mean horizontal so that the ladder acts as a platform for the dinghy ,you can put the dinghy on it,it worked for me on a 23ft boat.

Its dual purpose a platform for the dinghy and boarding ladder when dinghy in water and wouldnt look out of place.

Tridents do not like weight at the stern. On ours, a triple keel version, back in the '70s I even added a hefty lead ingot up forward to improve it's windward performance, worked well too

I have heard that Robin, it might even have been something you wrote for the magazine. What is the favourite trident tender trick?

do you have a pic, I am having slight trouble visualising, but I am intruiged as it sounds more elegant than my tube

Sorry no picture as on previous boat but just fit a stern boarding ladder a long one about 1.5 metres, they usually have a folding joint but that doesnt matter. When you want to stow the dighy on it just raise the full length so its sticking out horizontal and find some way of holding it there perhaps use the topping lift or tie it to the backstay and put your dinghy on it with perhaps bow and stern lines to the pulpit, that way its clear of the water.
