Flood warnings as well!

I decided I would be better & happier o/b. arrived 20 mins ago. the pontoons are all lashed together across the openings. sea dweller still afloat, I have checked her lines. the marina staff are on duty. will keep you posted as long as the wifi holds out

Nice one, was a bit worried about the boat but have been busy with flood prep at work as well as all the other problems we've had today.

I have placed my throne on the end of the pontoon at Bridgemarsh, opposite Canewdon (Landing place of Canute).

l decided to go. now on a mooring at Stoke sc West of no 9 by.
cg told me that they were expecting 2.1m over predicted 4.2m.
Mersea jaywick brittlsea likely to flood.
foxs crew moving boats from the meadow alls extending marina piles as I type.

London VTS reported tide 2.8m above prediction at 21.23hrs which was around low water. Still expecting about 1.3m above at high water. Probably means our clubhouse will be partly flooded (Gravesend).

Where is the meadow in relation to the Fox's Sales office? Boat I hope to buy is next to office. Is that likely to flood?

Appreciate this is a minor concern compared to those who's boats are on pontoons etc

No I do not think so - The "Meadow" area is probably 2mtre lower. The boat from the Meadow have been moved up to this higher level (same as Office) Ralph did tell me that the meadow area had not flooded under these high tide warnings but this one looks a bit extreme - so hence precautions being taken

It's the lower section down to the south, towards the orwell bridge: the tide will still have another 2-3m to go before it gets to your new baby.

Edit: Damn this slow keyboard!
