The Anglers, Walton - still open for business at 6pm Monday if you had wellies.
Unlikely to be open tomorrow.View attachment 39853

The EA's stealth weapon - an aquatic drone operating Mon am from the Wharf at Walton. Amazingly maneuverable considering the fierceness of the stream.

One that got away. Broke away from the Anglers mooring overnight and finished up on Sunbury Weir.

The normally neat array of jetties accommodating 20 boats at the Anglers reduced to this chaotic scene.
The boat on the Weir was one of this bunch.View attachment 39856

Hi all,

Thanks for posting these pictures into the forum.

We'd really like to make a gallery with them and share it with the YBW audience.

Would you all be happy for us to use your images with a credit? If so, can you please email a large size of your photos to isobel_smith@ipcmedia.com

Thanks,

Isobel

View at River Gardens, Purley on Thames with flooded garden and road.

The river should be between the near willow and further line of trees but it has decided to cut the corner off and go over the Mapleduham estate.

Did you drive through to or from Henley? It was passable Henley end Sun afternoon but starting to get quite deep, but I didn't try it this am at about 6:30am, and went up across Crazies Hill instead, road was firmly closed at Twyford and Henley ends Mon morning. Police car across it at Twyford end Sun afternoon, but loads of cars going through Wargrave centre, so must have moved not long after I was turned away.
So many roads closed in the area, it was starting to get quite difficult to get anywhere. Couldn't go down past Sainsbury to Winnersh cinema on Sun afternoon, as the roundabout by the cinema was closed to all traffic from Wokingham, but heard they opened up one lane around roundabout on Mon morning. With Sonning Bridge and Sandford lane and Lands End fords closed, and then Wargrave to Henley also closed, it means knowing your way around the lanes to find anyway to get across the river without long detours

the road closed signs are still up near the George pub wargrave, I go around it and up kentons lane and into the top of Remenham. gridlock in Henley due to the riverside roads closed.
