opposed to anything that may paint the east coast rivers as anything but muddy ditches. could you make a public information film?
Solent posh boys! Danger! Keep Away! Mud and no water here... nothing to see...move along now...
I'm just writing the part where all the clog-wearing Dengie-speakers tap dance on the deck of the pirate ship right now as it happens![]()
I have been wearing genuine Dutch clogs in Mersea for years, dunno about tap dancing in them
Crowd-funding the early stage would be one way to get the script development done, secure the actors (we have potential access to some "well known names") establish the full production budget and possibly shoot a trailer. This would then be used to attract the main investment for the main film production.

Personally I don't think it gets any better than 'Go East'. I'm using it as an introduction tonight when talking to 90 Solent sailors. To be truthful 85 Solent sailors and 5 East Coast sailors
Hmm, you moved to the Bristol area and you're in film making... These wouldn't be well known plasticine actors would they?
Do you think this would be an appropriate cinematic medium to portray certain well known East Coast sailing denizens?
Period filming is always more expensive to do as we'd have to think about modern cars & buildings, marinas, wind farms, power boats, nuclear power stations etc.
