I have a Flipper 760 and very pleased with the boat.
I would like to make contact with other Flipper 760 owners to discuss common topics by e-mail. Also to try and establish some website for the marque.
Please reply on this forum if o any interest.

Think you might have a bit of difficulty as I suspect there may not be many of you Flipper people about. Scandinavian boats are pretty good though aren't they, especially for our changeable weather.

Your right Whisper, I think UK owners are rare. I had a Norman before the Flipper.
Without doubt I am now a very keen fan of Scandinanian boats and would love a new Bella Falcon 26. as seen at the London boat show this year. For c £56000.00 new it would take some beating.
My boat is only 25ft long but has 5 berths and a lot of room inside, 'tardis' like.
I also like the open self-draining cockpit which has done away with the tedium of opening a canopy to gain access.

Hi:

I have a Flipper not a 760 but a 717C, 1993 well made and very robust, it has a VD AD31 & have owned it approx 3 years and I am very pleased with it, all Flippers of that era came from a company called Nautacalia who still exist but ceased trading with the Flipper Co.

Hello:
No reply as yet, by the way there are two 760s that I know off up here in Scotland, one in Aberdeen and one for sale in Euroyachts in Largs.

Hi, Recently bought a Flipper 760, 1989 model, now berthed at Cardiff Bay. Is there anyone out there who has or had one that can give me some information about the boat?

I have a flipper 760 :-)
Sorry if I’ve got the post wrong.
I also have a Flipper 760. I bought it last year from probate, so obviously have never (yet!) met the owner.
The siblings would only communicate with the broker.
I bought it on photos alone with no survey and have had such fun refurbishing it.
The Facebook Flipper 760 group only chat in Swedish and Finnish and Google is less than hopeless at translation of these languages.
British owners of the old 760’s are like hens teeth.
I would love to talk with any out there?

I haven't got a 760 but I recently purchased a 2001 Flipper 66 HT with a 4.3l Merc. Very impressed so far with the quality of the materials and build. It goes really well and handles superbly. Haven't seen anymore of them in UK or Ireland but this was originally sold my MGM boats.

You will need google translate but the Scandi's are usually happy to speak in english. There's a Flipper forum here... http://pm.forum24.se/ There's a website here too http://flipperbat.se

I live in Sweden now and Flipper's are everywhere, great boats, great handling and a very active following of the brand. I was close to buying a 666HT a few years ago. Good luck!
