Has anyone got a flip down tv for their boat?

As space is always at a premium on a boat I thought I would try a flip down 12v tv in the aft cabin fixed to the ceiling, so we can have early nights watching the box! I'm too old now for anything else!!!

Has anyone got one? if so what do you think of it? is it ok in a marine environment? (they are made for cars really)
I can only find on the internet 8" screens does anyone know of perhaps a 10" or 12" screen?

Bought a 15" LCD TV from Argos today...£169.99. Runs via a AC to DC convertor from 240v AC but the output of the convertor is 12volts 38 watts so will be able to power directly from 12v supply.
Also has 4 threaded sockets on back for fitting a wall bracket....should be a doddle to cobble together a simple bracket.

I have an Orion 10" LCD TV (10200 FLY) which folds flat (looks like a laptop when closed) and can be mounted upside down. When not in use you close it and it is only an inch or so thick.
This is currently "surplas to requirements", so if you want to do a google search to find out about it, and are interested in putting in an offer, let me know. I would estimate we have used it for a total of 3 hours over 2.5 years.

Don't be certain that it will work directly from a 12volt plug. I tried this and it only worked if batteries were at absolute peak. I've seen some people use small inverters but that seems complex as it goes 12volt to 240 back to 12v. In the end I bought a 12 volt stabiliser from Amperor (v. good service) which solves the problem (£39.99)
