This is a strange one to me! When out last week on the boat, we stopped for a cuppa in a fairly sheltered bay. On leaving though, the front of the boat seemed to lift really high - the Mrs said she felt like she was going to fall off the back (damn - must try harder...). Did it a couple of times - just wondering if I was giving it too much power too early, or is it a combination of wind, swell, power & trim?

Outdrive trimmed too far out?

If you accelerates slowly it will exaggerate the situation when you hit the point where the hull changes from displacement to planing.

Could very well be a combination of both, if the drive it trimmed too far out, it's almost doing a wheelie as I slowly accelerate!

Trim or low power meaning it never really gets on the plane. Weight further aft could also cause it not to get on the plane depending on how much power the boat has
