Can anyone help me obtain instruction for a Flavel Vanessa cooker? I would like to overhaul mine, but cannot find any information on the web. Has anyone an exploded diagram?
Thanks. <span style="color:black"> </span>

Dont bother. Buy a new one and you'll wonder how you ever did without! I doubt you'll get parts for it anymore anyway.

More modern cookers also have flame failure etc. for when the hob goes out unexpectedly. Thats saved my bacon a number of times!

I believe I have a set of instructions for a Flavel Vanessa cooker on board. But I can't remember an exploded diagram. I'm after some parts myself. My second burner knob will no longer turn and the oven door will not stay closed unless I insert a match over the door and beneath the lip at top.
I'm currently trying to buy a second hand one for parts out of the caravan section on Ebay. They seem to go between £20 and £80.
I will have a look at the instructions next weekend for an exploded diagram and send you a pm if found.

Presumably that's why he wants an EXPLODED diagram then?

Boom! boom!

Re: Flavel Vanessa cooker

I have a friend who has had an almost unused Vanessa (2 burner, grill + oven) in his attic. It was to go in his boat, but we changed plans and my boat has a new Plastimo job.
Contact me if you're interested - the cooker is near Basingstoke, Hants.

me too - consigned to the tip cause I wasnt happy about the safety of it, and the oven door never sealed properly whatever I did. Got a techimprex instead and been quite happy with it.

They fit a flavel vanessa two burner and grill hob into BT vans along with eberspachers and a figlass fire blanket. i have a continuous supply of them as a friend of mine buys and converts the vans to tippers.
i have at the mo a beaten up grill and 2 burner, my friend lost his rag trying to get it out of the van!! it is good for spares, he only bent the bottom and the knobs burners etc are ok and also have a propane regulator to suit, if any one wants any bits i will break it for suitable beer tokens!
also have a tatty fire blanket and a D1LC and a D2 Airtronic eberspacher for quite a few more beer tokens.

Thank you all, in particular Lescargot. I have managed to print off the full booklet of instructions. Now back to the boat and to look at the cooker with the help of the instruction book. After that I will know better how I stand. I will hang on to the rest of the replies until I know more.
