Flat out or not flat out?

Re: Hook. Line and Sinker!

Fairly witty, and it's good to see that you got to work early again! I'm in Zermatt from Friday, so can't continue. Good luck!

However, if you fancy a fortnight of (admittedly somewhat insecure) skiing, meet us at the Zum Zee just off the Matterhorn run most lunchtimes. Or powerboating around St Trop/Nice from April 9 for a fortnight, also late July, or late August, or October? Or the M-C GP for a quick flit? Call us on 07808 715 912 if you're nearby, and let's be friends!

Alternatively, you might decide to remain Unofficial Miseryguts of this BB. If so, use the spare time before work to practise spelling difficult words like "psychology" and "remember", and try using conjunctions instead of commas to link sentences.

Incidentally I have a Ferrari 456 reg V12 GTM for sale, although not really due to impending starvation. It's yours for a measly £110k, including fully charged battery! Less than a smallish spare part! No, I'm not advertising - I'm rubbing your nose in it! Isn't this all a total bummer? And true!

Now, I have to leave you. And, seeing as how I have a First in Mech Eng and (I'm guessing again!) you're rather lacking in that department (you'd need an English qualification) I'm afraid that I've already left you rather a long way behind.

Of course, come the revolution, I'll be up against the wall. So, do as I suggest and you won't have accidentally volunteered for the Friing Squid.

Now for your Very Last Word! Remeber, I'm not going to be around to contribute after this, so take a bit of time. To look sensible and more intelligent you do need to get the spelling and grammar just right. Otherwise, it might look as though you're out of your depth, as on Thursday.

Perhaps, just perhaps...you might decide that it would be best not to respond? But then...if you *don't* respond, it'll look as though I've guessed everything accurately again, and it'll be the first weekday for ages since you haven't contributed something, however badly written and miserable.

But then again...if you *do* respond it'll be badly written as before and you'll seem to be out of your depth yet again!

Perhaps you feel that a sharp, short and brutal message will further minimise the risk of further exposing your slow-wittedness? But that didn't work last time, it'll seem so mean-minded, and won't give you the chance to refute anything!

C'mon CP, we're all waiting, and the boss gets to work soon!

Who said this BB was getting dull?

Pip Pip!

Re: Hook. Line and Sinker!

I'm quite enjoying this thread. Pity we might have to wait a fortnight for future instalments. Come on with your response, Chris, I'm sure Matt'll call into an internet cafe somewhere whilst he's away. He might even have 'engineered' a lap top and mobile to take with him!

Now, what was the original subject?

Whos got the most toys then !

In the words of that great poet Sir Harry Enfield;

"And I am considerabley richer than thou" W**ker! (although probably not technicaly, because you probably can afford someone else to do that as well)

Actualy I sympathise with your position, wealth is a terrible burden to carry.

Re: Guess Again Matt

Matt, welcome home!! I trust the piste was to your liking!

Your guesses and assumptions about Chris P could not be more inaccurate. Chris is dyslexic and has worked very hard on his spelling (and reading) and has made great improvements. He hasn't had to do this behind his boss's back either, because he IS the boss - of a very successful engineering company which he started up after graduating with honours (not bad for a grumpy old dyslexic eh ??).

Re: Guess Again Matt

Look again at Matt's last posting: in the early hours of Friday morning 16 February, he said that he was going on holiday for a fortnight. It looks like you'll have to direct your urgings elsewhere for another week.

(Can we all wait another week for the next instalment? Or will this one have died a death by then and dropped off the bottom of the bulletin board?)

Okay beaten to it but a runaway engine is quite a frightening experience and not only the noise. Jam something into the air intake and it will stop. :)
