i have a pad eye on top of the rear of the main hull, to which the running rigging is connected.
i use this in F3 and less to tighten the forestay, works very well.
but, to my surprise i noticed that the external base plate is being pulled up on one side as the force is forward as well as upward.
so, i could fix the metal pad eye better, or
put a loop of dyneema through the existing holes in the deck (the ones now used to fix the pad eye) and attach the running rigging to that.
but, how do i seal the holes for the dyneema, sikkaflex it ?
