i have a pad eye on top of the rear of the main hull, to which the running rigging is connected.

i use this in F3 and less to tighten the forestay, works very well.

but, to my surprise i noticed that the external base plate is being pulled up on one side as the force is forward as well as upward.

so, i could fix the metal pad eye better, or

put a loop of dyneema through the existing holes in the deck (the ones now used to fix the pad eye) and attach the running rigging to that.

but, how do i seal the holes for the dyneema, sikkaflex it ?

I'd guess a folding padeye would be the business- they are semi-circular like a normal padeye, but they fold (or align) fwd/aft if you look from above so the eye looks like a C or D.

Dyneema through deck

No don't do that. The dyneema will chafe on the fibreglass and not last very long at all.
If one side of the plate is lifting (presumably the back) then a bolt through that side of the plate to a large backing plate or large washer is what is needed. good luck olewill
