Well,
its nearing the end of January, and thoughts must turn to getting the boats up and running.

What better exercise than to have our annual (so it turns out) Fitting Up Supper?

I have had glowing reports from the Moody Owners Association when they went to Bradwell Quay, who did them a fine 3 course menu.

I had Ianqv (who is a member) check out the date and club availability, and its clear.

As everyone knows, we usually have around the end of April, so I have pencilled in the 27th.

We will get the usual Club rates at Bradwell Marina of course, and to be honest it is always good value anyway.

The usual odd games are encouraged, and the FULL ECF rules apply.
i.e. None. ;)

So, who is in this year then?

I will kick it off...

Full Circle, 35ft, 2 persons (room for 2 more)

Dang, just as I was hoping to cadge those spare berths I've looked at the date, we have a themed night every last Saturday of the month, so yet another weekend where we can't get away :(
Hope it all goes well

Jane is working that night and I'm scheduled to do a shift swap so I'm afraid the Brigantias will have to beg leave to be absent this year

MoodySabre, home port. A cosy aft cabin available.

Sheila is very happy not to be heading for the Wallet in April :D:D

Dopey question, but what depth there? Never been before for some reason. We draw 1.7m

Plenty of water over half flood - its the entrance channel that is shallower, once in the marina, no problem.

Guapa is 2.1m I think.
MoodySabre draws the same as you and he is resident there. Look forward to seeing you

me me!

If you could do with the crew of course, not that I'm wishing I had a bigger boat or anything naff like that. Or anything so indulgent as a flushing bog or running water. Quite happy in my floating tent thanks very much. But if the softies like yourself NEED the crew or galley slaves, then I'm willing to sacrifice myself to help out ;)
