fitting car cd player

Can anyone suggest how to simplify connection of wiring I have no idea of the connections required. Can you buy a connector for boats. Ihave two connectors one for the speakers the other for power. The power socket has four pins yellow,blue, red and black whilst the other has eight but I only need four for two speakers. Thanks John

Red is the live to the ignition
Black is the earth
Orange is the permenant live (CD player memory... presets etc)
Blue is the remote switchinbg for a secondary amplifier

simply Black to earth (negative), join the red and orange and connect to positive and disregard the blue unless you are using an external amplifier. Good luck

Ooo an remember only to use it in dead calm cos the cheapo ones jump at the slightest provocation.

Thanks for advice. Fitted it overweekend, hardest part is leading wire to unit.
