About to order a new engine to fit to a Sadler 29.
I've measured up as per the re-installation form supplied by Beta and found that the engine bearers are not at the same angle as the prop shaft. The man at Beta suggests that we manufacture some hardwood wedges, to accomodate the anti-vibration mountings, and bolt to these.
Is this standard practice - not self fitted an engine before.
The previous engine was a Volvo 2002 which had a slightly angled gearbox so the problem didn't ocurr.
Any advice gratefully received.
Thanks
