News today is local trawlers are not only catching fish but any rubbish that trawl up is brought ashore to be recycled.I recall a net coming up with half the catch smeared with blue paint from tins of paint obviously thrown overboard.

There might have been a few stories about the fishermen from your area being a bit light on reporting their catches and the the local 'administration' not being very interested in looking into the idea, due to relationships...
