Fish in Cardiff Bay

Does anyone know what type of fish the ones are in huge shoels about 1cm long in Cardiff bay?

Very small great white sharks ? Global warming strikes Wales.

I'm guessing here but they may be the youngsters of the bigger grey mullet you see trying to get food off the kids at Mermaid Quay. There's *thousands* of them at the moment, our spaniel finds the shoals round the back of the boat very interesting.

Mullet or someone said they were dace?

General consensus of friends is they're mullet, but that's not to say they're right of course !

Apparently the fishermen on the barrage sluices are catching some pretty big bass coming through at the moment.
