Anyone know if it's worth being out in the river on Saturday evening for firework watching?

I'm due to be elsewhere, but just noticed it's HW at c.2045 so it would be perfect viewing if there's anything to view!

I just asked some local liveaboards - their reply:

One never knows. You may be a long way from them. But being at sea is always good!

So, I guess nothing in particular. I can't see anything advertised at Burnham but there are some at South Woodham Ferrers. Might be able to see them from past Brandy Hole ish.

Ever been up Clementsgreen Creek? Haven't got my chart here, but google maps shows it as potentially doable, partic at HW.

Wizz-bang !

Your correct there is a big display at Marsh Farm, on the N. bank at SWF. Quite a way from Clements Green Creek.

Clements Green Creek is little more than a muddy ditch except a short way up. The local ski club use it up to the 8 knot posts. At low water the mud banks stretch nearly to the middle where there something like a 3 metre wide, 2 meter deep wandering ditch. 30 odd years I have never seen a yacht venture up CGC. Couple that with Neap tide, go if you must !!

Much better to take the pontoon at Brandy Hole Y.C. ?

Or a vacant mooring just up from Brandy Hole - pole position!
