When the first puff of smoke was seen we was just about to haul up and go out , but by the time we got the windlass there was five or six ribs out there .
It's been over an hour and it's still smoking , the CG boat is now there , , I guess that going to be the end of that boat .
We saw one off Santa Ponsa last year, small motorboat. Burnt down to the waterline and sank in an hour. Plenty of rescuers/gawkers standing by, as you can imagine given the location. The crew abandoned into their dinghy and nobody got hurt.
19 Mts motor boat two Dutch guys they got off ok .
It's been in the back of my head since that thread drifted , going to buy two smoke alarms put one by the solenoid then other by the breaker .
Still playing around with it trying to find problem but stop posting not to bore people .
