The longer she was under the water the more chance of pollution costs against the insurers, simples. They are limiting their exposureInsurers and their local rep must be commended on their prompt action in salvaging this wreck. Some would have taken a lot longer to get this massive operation off the ground.

My top tip, don't take photos whilst lying down.
For some reason they load and show the right way up on Safari on the iPhone/Pad but rotate through 90 degrees when viewed on PC or IE...I'll turn them round when I get home.
So from what I can see in those pictures the hull isn't breached below the water line? If so she sunk due to the amount of water the FB pumped onto her?
