Fined for no licence

What has happened about all those people hiding up in various cuts and backwaters,have they finally conceded that we are all in this together and coughed up for a Thames river licence with smile ?

We will never know other than information which may be published re specific cases if they go to court. the Agency will not comment on pending cases. All we know is that any unlicensed craft found on the waterway will be pursued.

I did wonder if this was part of the reason for the recent downstream flow of traffic from the Kennett & Avon mouth/Tesco's area.......much tidier there in the past few weeks.
 
There was a large steel barge parked down here on the Mudway for some time.Rumour was it was a early refugee from the new licence "regime" being put into place up there.

You are wrong. Water does not define the extent of the Thames. That is clearly defined in section 4 of the TCA document you have provided a link to. The word water is used only once in the definition of the Thames i,e. High water mark at Teddington.:D
