Fine tune block

Anyone fitted a fine tune block simlar to the one in the diagram?

Any issues with the two main sheets getting tangled?

(Advice is to tighten the fine blocka tight togethwr when jibing or running)

Its a good system - but use high quality lightweight blocks and dyneema for the fine tune.
As you note, used upwind. Not needed downwind, and need to be aware of extra hardware in gybe (did i mention lightweight blocks?)

Just out of interest, why’s that then?

So there's no block at head height to wallop you as you jibe.

Been using setups like that for decades. No major issues, just as you say manage the fine tune downwind.
