The ideal crew posts etc. (thanks J) got me thinking.........

What would be your 'soylent green' style final fantasy, if you were allowed a no expense spared 'dream' before the closing curtain and your lights go out.

Let's put some boundaries to it, it must involve a boat and three guests.

I'd go for...........

A cruise around the caribbean on an Azimut 55 (self skippered of course) with Nigella Lawson (totally besotted with me), and Robbie Williams / Kylie, to entertain (and spy on through the vent).

Must last at least 3 weeks!

Who's brave enough to go next.......................

I'd have a Squadron or Manhatten for 6 months in the Med, Cruise around and pick up as many babes as I can!! Not forgetting to stop off in Monte Carlo for the Grnd Prix and really live it up with the rest of the snob's!! Mind you I could pretend my boat was just the tender!!

'Nanny type to look after kids' !!!!!!!

Somehow I don't think your 'letting yourself' go enough, the maternal instinct is still too strong.

Try again after a bottle of wine!

Well Martyn,

I suppose it would have to be something like a Sunseeker Yacht 105, With huge F**K Off PETROL Engines in it, And a wallet to match it.

Crewing would be me Skipper, SWMBO as (best)First Mate, Cause Thats what she is, My Best Mate.
Harry our Westie Being co-pilot Cause he's good at that, See below==
tn_P9030157.jpg
No he ain't a Donkey!!

And probably Solitaire./forums/images/icons/wink.gif

Cause he would be able to keep me right from doing wrong!!!

We would cruise from the Solent (cause i want to know what this place is that you all rave about) round to Greese, And arrange for each and everyone of you to join us in turn on our way as our guests, So as i could finally meet the people behind the Keyboards/forums/images/icons/smile.gif, that have helped me with my knowledge of sailing.

Thankyou.

OK, call me Mr. Boring but I actually do like the boat I've got and the art of life is wanting what you've got, rather than getting what you want. That said....a limitless supply of LPG that replenishes itself from nowhere wouldn't go amiss.

Then I could cruise the oceans without end and take on the storms as well.

Can't help with the 3 people though, as it would be an activity I would like to do alone.

A Grand Banks 50 that was under 11ft air draft so I could get it up the Thames.

It would have to have a full planing hull as well.

The Thames would be off limits to rowers and the canal things.

England has weather like it did 30 years ago. long summers....

Oh yes the whole thing was powered by the hydrogen cell and converts water to energy.

Lots of brownie points there - I take it SWMBO looks in on here sometimes then.

We also have a Westie called Harry, one year old and a great character. Loves to sit on the swim platform and watch people walk up and down the jetty.

That explains it Martyn, I thought everyone on here must be so loyal and perhaps 'boring', but I guess if SWMBO's potentially 'looking over your shoulder', then I understand.

Not sure I can figure out the dog bit though, maybe a perversion I'm not aware of, or has the dog witnessed some moment of extra-ciricular activity on Indiana, and he's afraid It'll spill the beans?

No not trying to win Brownie points at all.

My SWMBO has never been on the net, here or anywhere,EVER.

Westies are great charracters, He sits on the bathing platform as well, but when a duck swimms past, then Well!!! Hes good at jumping on and off the pontoon, But in a hurry, like duck hunting, he occaisionally misses/forums/images/icons/laugh.gif.

Mmmm now, what can I think of, large cruiser, somewhere sunny, tastefully done out, young fit male crew, pampering to my every need. Pool/jacuzzi on board for splashing fun, helipad to whisk me off shopping, and bring offspring and friends for visits. Good library, good food and wine, body of my dreams achieved painlessly and without effort. Three guests, would have to be entertaining in themselves, sybaritic and good looking, but I don't think they exist, I bet Robbie only talks about himself, Richard Gere, same as Robbie. Maybe someone like David Bowie? More thought needed here.
