I've got the bug!!

On my way back from the needles on Saturday the Stbd engine started slowing. Throttle movement made no difference. Checked the bulhead filter was found to be blocked. Luckily I had a spare.

Question is, appart from Nick with his ten filters, where is the best place to source them from? (Nick, have you got any left?)

I am also after some glass bowl filters, mine are the metal ones so you can't even see what is going on in there.

Assuming it's a Volvo then Keypart are a cheaper source of filters than Volvo direct. They will probably do the filter which has been supplied with the boat. Keypart also do a line in glass bottom filters but expect to pay over £100 each initially

I would have thought 10 filters is preferable compared to lucky I had 1 floating around somewhere...

getting the bug is a right pain in the ass, so i hope you get it sorted soon and at resonable cost.

Best place for filters? try a local motorfactors, that who i use.
