If Calor are so short of bottles, then it might be an idea to come and empty the used bottles cage in the marina I'm in.

If they had some realistic way to return unwanted cylinders perhaps they wouldn't end up in the dump!

Better tell Calor then, As listed earlier their is a return unwanted bottle system, either with or without a Licence Agreement.
With you get up to 70% original cost, but minimum 25%. Without £7.50 returned to Calor, or £10 voucher returned to Go Outdoor Store.

In common, I suspect, with most rural areas we are a long way from a Calor depot and from a Go Outdoor. However there are three Calor agents within a few miles. All they need to do is incentivise their agents to take orphan bottles and I would imagine they would get a lot of bottles back.
