Has anyone found a neat and secure way of dealing with the NMEA and GPS data from GPS to VHF and plotter? or is it just solder and heat shrink.

Stereo jack plug and socket - common ground on base, NMEA from GPS to VHF on tip, out from VHF (not currently used) on ring

+1 and cover with non adhesive heatshrink, will stop the jacks coming apart until you decide to. They fit twisted pair shielded cable very well and continue the screening too and cost nothing, I but 100 at a time 50 male & 50 female for less than £65
