Comments to follow.Been conned into going to club D & D in full whistle and flute...Grr.

Never seen them get from Gillingham to Sheerness so fast.
A squall came through in Sea Reach and a few had to get rid of the topsail rather quickly.
We saw it coming in the distance and decided we had got at least 10 mins to cover up upstairs and wander down to put up cover around cockpit
30 secs later we were soaked through and legged it downstairs leaving the all the upper and lower upholstery to take its chances.
Apparently took the barges for ever to get back to Gillingham..

A few were out again today, three I think we saw out around sheerness and coming back up past chatham docks saw Edith May going down river

Got em. Now my screensaver. :)
Day out for daughter and grandkids plus a toddler friend or two.
Went down to see the seals in Sharfleet.
Six or seven there at LW.
Spent this evening attempting to scrape most of the crud out of the carpet and get jammy fingermarks off the windows.

H,mm.wonder where that was ?
Once a year RCC organises a run out for members of the "The Valiant Swimming Club" and their carers/mums/dads/grannies/brothers and sisters/hangers on etc.
About 10 boats are press ganged into going along and the club provides a buffet afterwards.
Great day out for all and a chance for those of us parents/grandparents with kids to realise how a throw of the dice can alter life chances for ever.
Hats off to some of the mums and dads we enjoy a day out with. :)

Just past the two boats on the swinging moorings down river from medway bridge marina pontoon very close to the rowing club, one of the boats is called bubbles and has seagull **** all over it!
