Bit of hardwood, polystyrene rope, sling from midway cleat, works fine
Was thinking of buying a 1 step version to double duty as a transom protector when mooring stern-to (as now, temporarily) but I did also have the thought that the multi-step versions would do as a side-protector fender if hung horizontally rather than vertically, has anyone tried that ahd care to report how wel it worked ?just after a sensible way of getting on and off the boat from a dinghy rather than using the stern ladder.
fender steps - the three or four "rung" ones look like a plan - simple and easy
anyone use them?
I use this when at a pontoon
A length of cord from it to a stanchion to retrieve it and stop it getting kicked into the water.![]()
