Try Boat Fenders | Fender Covers | Fender Hooks | Inflatable Fenders | Hypalon Fenders | Polyform. Have used them several times and they are good.

+1 Dudley is very helpful. Have used them before , good service

Sox look smart but Keep them clean otherwise you risk rubbing grit into your top sides

You can now buy the material from lots of places (e.g. Force4) which is why I gave up.
