what are the keel options? the Gibsea has three keel options I'm not sure of the Feeling -is she lift keel? are you talking theoretically or are you looking at particular models for sale?

They both have a fin keel. Both built in 1989.

Gibsea has a shallow medium and deep fin option. They seem to be solidly built in comparision to the lighter displacement bennys, (similar interiors) but their speed may suffer as a result. There have been a number of previous threads on the 312. IMO they seem to be good value when compared to other overpriced marques which get priced up because of constant hype concening them in the press.

Hope one has in mast furling and the other slab reefing. Then you will know which one to choose from the advice given on the other thread you started!
