Not that I am at all fussy but would it not be better to have the calender bit on the Bottom right of the Picture because most people (I assume) have icons on the left side of their desktop.
Nice picture though.

Cheers Webcraft

Great pic.

Shhhhh Dont let on where these places are or we will have a mass exodus from the Solent. Especially when they find out how much it costs to keep a boat up here (oops nearly gave it away)

Dah, not a chance

I didn't see a pub in the photo!

Nearly as pretty as my mooring, which happens to be in The Solent (but where you might ask)

"Where is Puilladobhrain, Seil Island, because I can't find it on Multimap?"

It's a secret, and there IS a pub. Haven't often seen it as busy as that.

Moose,

The calendar is put where it fits in best with the picture of the month - it is not always in the same place, and I am afraid you will just have to do all that heavy labour of moving your icons around. It's only once a month, so not much danger of RSI hopefully.

Pictures are all chosen so that there is a reasonable amount of relatively featureless space (eg sky, sea atc) to display icons clearly. To get the maximum benefit you need to move your icons most months to fit in with the picture.

Re: Dah, not a chance

Pub is a 10 minute walk over the hill and is at the Bridge over the Atlantic..Lovely anchorage with very narrow entrance but no problems as leading line marked on rocks with white paint...lovely sunset like that this evening here at Troon as I look out over Arann. Got good photo which I wood post if someone could advise me how to?

Why not . .

. . send the picture to Nick and he may use it in a future calendar for us all to enjoy.

Re: Dah, not a chance

Boat on the right of the picture is ours, and the pub over the hill is our local, although it took us three hours to sail there in light airs from Balvicar via Cuan Sound.

It was late October, and there were only four boats in - bliss! (Although one still managed to anchor rather close to us - some sort of herding instinct?)
