Tired of FB, Tired of Life!

How about a new boat, hm?

Alright, what about instad of FB all the time, you have say fried breakfast instead. Then say beef or crab salad for lunch, before falling back to a nice FB pie for tea. This way the FB pies will last three times as long.

Re: Tired of FB, Tired of Life!

Sainsbury's tinned vegetable curries and bhajis + lots of fruit washed down with bottled Adnams Strong Suffolk Ale and Penguins (choccy biscuits that is) to nibble on. Crusty Bread Bacon Sandwich for breakfast.

("fer chrissakes open that bloody hatch and get some air in here quick!!!!!")

One tin M&S Chicken Supreme, add white wine (maybe pop finely chopped peppers if at anchor).
ONe tin new potatoes.
Heat both serve and drink the rest of the wine.
OR
If you have a grill student piza:
one tin chopped tom's with herbs, add more herbs, spread on toast, lay on cheese to taste and chuck any other stuff you might have like really small fish bits, grill! Two minutes and great.
OR Me personal favourite- sausages Tagliatelle, fry your sausages with stuff chuck in some basil and tom's again, stir, chuck in fresh (or pre-cooked Tag), add lashings of cream and wahey 3800 cal's per fork.

Freshley made curry, (well ok, using a jar of sauce) with the trimmings. This normally follows the G&T's with ice. Then to the pub for a few pints ..
If sailing an all purpose stew thing in the pressure cooker. If hot weather then normally salad and lighter stuff and save the alcohol until at port/anchor.

we have adapted our camping food list, which was based on no fridge
spag bog = onion, chopped tin corned beef, toms etc
tinned chicken in white sauce, mini carrots tin, served with noodles
tinned chicken in red wine, with rice
tins of tuna, tomatoes, onions with rice
theres a huge amount of packet freeze dried pasta in oodles of flavours, parmesan, ham & cheese, mushrooms - used to buy in waitrose but found in lidl for quarter price now
veggy or tuna rissoto ( nice little boxes of rice)
fabby self bake mini rolls, which make sandwickes into hot meals... ie the cheese melts when goes in fresh out of oven,
another lidl goodie in the fridge section packets of tortellini, 2 mins in boiling water dollops of butter then chopped salad, with it.
have a hunt in waitrose, they;ve astounding food in tins ( slightly pricey but unusual, but for all the basics asda & lidl)
puds - tins fruit, spray can cream & meringue nests, rice pud etc
...fallen asleep yet?...theres tons more , just look in tin can aisle for basics we havent touched the emergecy fb's for 2 years!!

Scotch pancakes for breakfast with bananas, raisins and maple syrup....Fresh Tuna steaks with couscous for lunch...Cottage pie mad with dried vegy mince, tinned carrots onions and garlic and a hint of chilli.

In northern Latitudes closer to fresh produce a full chicken roast as you sail off on passage to somewhere warmer.

Wooden plates to eat it off as the food doesn't slide around, nor do the plates. Buy them in Northernm Spain for £1.00. Now back to work.

Rosti Potatoes (come in long life packets from Morrisons) - just stick in a frying pan for 5 mins - they even do a pack with onions and bacon premixed in - fantastic!!

If your really hungry - throw in some baked beans too!
